Description:
This little angel is easy enough for the beginners in PI.
|
Open a new image 400 x400. This
will give you plenty of room to work in. Take your pathdrawing tool ,
set to
ellipse and draw an oval shape.
Take your path edit tool and move the bottom one
up and the top one up until you get a shape similar to this
one.
Now apply a wood preset. You should now have
something like this.
Make another (smaller) ellipse for the head.
Apply the wood preset . Make two tiny round shapes for the eyes. Your
angel
should now look like this.
For the nose, make a small ellipse and apply the
wood preset .Now go to Format and scroll down to Tone Map, move the
shadow bar
down to -32. This will darken the nose just a bit.
*Note: For PI 8 users, go to Format, "Highlight Midtone Shadow" then
Shadow.
Now to make the
wings. You can open a new image 400 x 400. Draw an ellipse. Use the 3D
pipe
setting , and slide the border down to the end.
Use your transfrom tool set to perspective, and move it in a bit to
form this.
Apply a copper preset. Right click and
duplicate.Make it a bit smaller and rotate right 10 degrees. Duplicate
again.
and repeat the steps. Do one more but keep it the size it is and rotate
to the
left 30 degrees. Your wing should now resemble
this.
Make a tiny, circle shape 3D round, and add a
silver preset. Place these on the wings .I made about 25 and just placed
them at
random. Right click and combine as single object. Copy and paste on your
angel
image. Right click on your wing and duplicate. Go to Edit, Rotate and
Flip. and
Flip Horizontally.Place the wings in back of your angel. She should look
something like this now.
For the hair, Go to your paint brush,Shape round
, size 3 , color black. Click paint as objects. Draw
a squiggley little curl
for the hair.Duplicate it and place them on the angels head. Now make an
ellipse
for her halo and place it over her head.Add a drop shadow. Thats it...
your
little angel is finished. Decorate her any way you like.
