Open a new image, 500 x 500. With the pathdrawing tool, set to 2D, color gray draw a round rectangle . Like this:

Now draw another round rectangle, only smaller, like this;

Move it down on top of the larger rectangle like this:

Make both active and right click and merge as single object.
Now go up top and click on File and scroll down to "trace" select marquee" when the window pops up click OK.

Now change the mode to 3D. Now on the top tool bar change from 3D to Continue to draw. Click on your custom shape at the top of your tool bar, and scroll down until you find the decoration....Draw your decoration on your shape. Change back to 3D.

With your pick tool :

Drag the 3D image off onto another workspace. ( It will make its own space.) You should now have this.

Go to your EasyPalette, Fill gallary, Natural Textures and choose wood 8. Double click and you should now have this..

To make the wood darker . go to Format at the top of your toolbar. Scrool down to Tone Map and move the Shadow slider to -64.

Now make a new image 500 x500 and move your shape onto it, this is just to make some room to work in. Click on the Eraser tool and set it to "straight lines " at the top of the tool bar. Make a line across the image to erase out the bottom part. You can switch back to freehand afer you have made the first line .


Should look like this.

With the Path drawing tool make a rectangle like this

You may have to apply the wood preset and darken it to match the rest. Right click and duplicate and place it on the other side. With the path drawing tool set to circle 3D make a circle small for the bolts. Use the wood preset if it doesn't apply itself and darken it a bit but not as much as you did for the rest.Right click and duplicate it 3 more time until you have 4. Move them over out of the way for now. We'll use them later. Now make a long rectangle for the bottom bar. Like this.

Select the two short rectangles , holding down the shift key to make them both active. Right click and Align vertically. Now move you little circles onto them. Like this :

If the circles are behind and you cannot see them click on the pick tool and bring them to the front. Right click and "select all" and merge as single object. To add shadow, right click and click on shadow, and use the 5th box over.

Thats it , your all finished..
