This tutorial is written for PhotoImpact 7.

Open a new canvas approximately 400 x 400 pixels with a white background. Click on the Path drawing tool. Select the ellipse shape, Color #29050A. Drag out a egg shape.

Select the transform tool/perspective. Make one end of your egg smaller.
Click on the path line tool, 3D, width 2, gray color. Make a star shape in the center of your egg. Switch to the Outline path tool and drag out an ellipse onto your egg. Merge the ellipse and star as a single object. Go to Effects/Special/Emboss. Use the default settings and click OK. In your Layer manager-change that object to merge method Soft Light.
Choose the Rotate function of the Transform tool and slightly tip the small end down. Duplicate your egg and drag it off your work space. We will use it later.
Click on the Lasso Tool, Soft Edge 0. Click the mask icon to enter mask mode. Make a selection to simulate a broken edge and continue around the front part of the egg. Click delete on your keyboard. Click back on the mask icon to exit mask mode.

Select the Path tool, 3D round, Freehand, Accuracy 10. In the Material Gallery choose Gel/G20. Draw a freeform shape for the egg filling. Send it behind the chocolate egg.

Now change the path shape to circle and the Gel to G27. Hold the Alt key down and drag out your yoke shape. Send it behind the chocolate egg also but keep it in front of the egg filling.

Switch back to the Freehand shape 3D tool. Click on the reset in the Gel Gallery to remove the material and choose the color white. Holding the Alt key draw a smaller freeform shape over the yoke. Sent it behind the chocolate egg and on top of the yoke. In your Layer Manager change the transparency for this object to 40. Your egg can be finished like this or you can continue on and add a foil wrapper.
Make the duplicate chocolate egg your active object. In the Material panel change the color to #0000C4. On the Bump tab, click file and browse to Leaf 1: C/Program Files/ Ulead/PhotoImpact 7/Texture/Leaf1. On the Shading Tab, click on Metallic/Copper. Apply to the egg.
We will use this foil wrapper to cover part of the chocolate egg. Click on the Lasso tool and then click the mask icon. Make a jagged edge selection and on around the small end of the wrapper and delete.
Drag the foil wrapper onto your chocolate egg and arrange. Go to Effects/Magic/Turnpage. Adjust the sliders to get the size turn you would like and apply the turned down edge to both the top and the bottom edge of the wrapper. Now add some shadows and your Cadbury's ® egg is finished.
