| Just download and unzip the three
files to a temporary folder. Download and install Plugin commander
or PICO. PICO is a free
program. | |
Start PICO, and use its browser
to find the ffl files. I use the window on the left side for
this. To convert a ffl
file now, all you need do is highlight one or more ffl files in the
right window, and press the convert
button. |
 |
 |
This box will appear
allowing you to input the folder in which you want the file(s) to be
stored. Type in the right folder path or press the Select Folder
button to find the right
folder. | |
| If your version of Fantastic machines paint
engine doesn't have any choices when you click the down button
here: |
 |
| You need to do a little file moving to fix
that. |
|
Use windows explorer to open your filters
folder and search for fmachine.ini. Right click on this file and copy it. |
 |
Now use windows explorer to open
your windows folder. Right click on a white area of the window and click
paste. You shouldn't need to restart pi in order to see the presets there,
but you will probably need to cancel your paint engine window and reopen
it. This information is in the
readme file that comes with fmachine, but if you are like most people you
didn't read the read me. LOL |
| If you feel comfortable doing it
you can open the ini file and paste this in at the bottom so you don't
have to insert all the numbers manually for this tutorial. Make sure to do
this before you copy and past the file into the windows folder. If you
have already installed the ini file to the right folder, paste it into the
one in the windows folder instead. |
