Welcome, my name is Cookie. The following tutorial is converted to PhotoImpact 7 from PSP7 with the kind permission of Jane PSP Tubes The Recipe Card on the background with permission from Linda Wompietuts My host for this page is the PIRC Network Thank you all so very much!!
I have tried to make this fun for you to do..Please Read The Tutorial Before You Start It.

So grab your aprons, the supplies below and let's get cooking!!

Baking Sheet-200 x 200 Wax Paper-Fill #ffffff
Wire Whisk-Path Tool Food Colouring-#BD2F2F
Pastry Brush-Airbrush Frosting Knife-Blur
Wooden Spoon-Burn
Sugar-Particle/Snow

Get a baking sheet 200 x 200. Add the waxpaper(#ffffff), so they don't stick to the sheet while you are working on the gumdrops.

You will need the Wire Whisk that is in the shape of Rounded Edges 3. Mix your dough well, and fill the baking sheet 2/3 full(Image 2a), Border 2/Depth 30. Now it is all lumpy, so Rotate & Flip it Vertically(Image2b). That's better. Add a drop of Food Colouring, #BD2F2F(Image2c). OOPs..need some more Food Colouring(Image2d), go to Format--Brightness/Contrast, give it two more squirts of colouring by squeezing on the bottom right square 2x's.

Next we will be shaping these yummy gumdrops, so with the Pastry Brush, about a size 20, brush on the inner edges, the red colouring #992626 and softly edge it at 50.(Image3a). With the Frosting Knife, oh about a size 20, spread the red colouring till it is blended well, softly edge it at 50(Image3b). With the Wooden Spoon, about a size 10, gently run the spoon around the edges, till you get it to look rounded, softly edging it at 50(Image3c). Grab the Frosting Knife, about a size 20, spread the red colouring till it is blended well, softly edge it at 50(Image3d).

Your beautiful gummy will look like Image 3d..we are almost done..and I am getting hungry.
The gumdrop looks cold, so we have to dress him for Christmas by Rolling In White Sugar.(Image4a)
Effects/Particle/Snow, he needs lots so roll in sugar like this: Density=2059, Size=16, Variance=0, Body=0, Opacity=0.(Image4a)

Alternatives: I used different things to get other effects. In Image 4b, I rolled it in Sugar like this: Particle/Snow/Texturizer/Crystalize Texture. In Image 4c, I used Unplugged Filter/Effects/Snow, at around 50/60. In Image 4d I used Unplugged Filter/Effects/Snow/Texturizer/Crystalize Texture. The Texturizer settings are Scaling=100/Relief=15/Light=TopLeft.

If you would like to make these into ornaments herein ..ufo form Here

You can get a great tutorial and download of the Crystalize Texture from a wonderfully talented lady, Diz Tutorials for PSP. Now if you have some Yellow & Green Food Colouring around your kitchen, you can make some other colours, off the red one by Format/Hue & Saturation/Colourize. Give the bottle a few squeezes to get the shade you want. Save this tutorial, so you can make any holiday gumdrops. Put your beautiful, yummy gumdrops in a nice container and email it to someone you know!!

Well, I hope you all had fun, and will join in on my next cooking class.
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday, come back soon.
